Deep Tissue Massage

The best care

Deep Tissue Massage was developed in the 1950’s as a hands-on technique used to release built-up emotion, which can become stored as muscular tension.

This build-up can cause a multitude of physiological problems, which can actually cause the muscle mass to appear and behave differently. Hence, many postural problems will respond favourably to Deep Tissue Treatments.

Deep Tissue, as reflected in its name, is a very deep massage and is done using little or no oil. The movement is slow, to obtain maximum effect with little pain.

Treatments should only be applied to one or two areas of the body at any one time. and should not be done in close succession. It is advisable not to have treatments in close succession and to alternate these with general massage.
